The Zoo and Liberty Park

I am loving living in the middle of Salt Lake City. There are so many fun, educational, and fantastic things to do. Wow. I grew up here, but didn't realize how great this city is. I love it now, more than ever.

Here is one of our trips to the ZOO...

Abby and Jane are such good sports! They have to spend a lot of time in their stroller these days.
The zoo has an awesome dinosaur display. The dinosaurs look so real.
Savannah by a triceratops looking dino- I don't remember the real name.
This big guy sprayed all the kids. I think he may have been the most popular dino at the zoo!

This little guy stealthily squirts water too. Most people didn't know at first- I think he was our favorite.

T-Rex actually did scare them. They wouldn't pose for me here.

The zoo always has improvements going on- thus, lots of constructions sometimes. Owen is more determined than anything that he will be a "tractor digger" when he grows up, so- this is his favorite part of the zoo (besides the crocodiles he's also obsessed with).

Thanks for the fun, zoo! We will see you many many more times this summer.

I have always had a special place in my heart for Liberty Park. My Grandma and Grandpa Griffin used to pick me up, and take me there when I was a little girl. We walked and played there all the time. I have such great and sweet memories of being there with them. Also, the movie, Savannah Smiles, was filmed there when I was a little girl. I loved that movie- and even named my little girl Savannah (not after the movie- but the little girl in the movie sure was cute).  So, for many years I have loved Liberty Park, but now I am SO OVER THE TOP IMPRESSED! We have had so much fun there this summer. I think we've probably spent more time there than anywhere else besides home. Here are some of our fun times....

Climbing trees,

Rolling down hills,

showing off at barbeques,
roasting marshmallows,
posing for pictures, and much much much much more!
