Kennecott Copper Mine

Enjoying a little lunch:) I hate to start them so early at the yellow arches, but kids are crazy about this place.

 We went to the Kennecott Copper Mine last Saturday. Pretty incredible place!

My kids think the BUS is the COOLEST thing ever... Here's a peek at our ride to the mine:

Savannah and Ellie especially think buses are so cool.

If I remember right, this tire weighs 5 tons, and costs $25,000.ooo. Wow.

This was the highlight at the copper mine- looking through the big binoculars.

They fought over it.

Owen is in heaven here. He really really really really wants to buy one of these tractors, seeing he is going to be a "tractor digger" when he grows up.

If he is right, this is an omen of things to come!

Nothings is cooler than a microscope.

We'll have to go back next year, or in a few, and learn about everything here. This time- we just looked :)
