Temple Square

I am trying to get a month of pictures on here today- so it may take a few posts.

We LOVE going to Temple Square

In a few years, Savannah and Owen will probably be mad at us for taking these pictures of them pretending to be a bride and groom, but for now, they thought it was fun, and we thought it was cute...

It's really hard to get these two away from the fountains and the water. They really would have jumped in if we weren't there.

Owen is absolutely obsessed with escalators... I try not to let him play on them, but then he coaxes me to come along...

 

 

 

How can a mom resist a smile like that when it comes to playing on the escalators.

The best part of our visit, of course...

 Owen looks pretty goofy in this picture, but I had a great experience with him while we were there. While Savannah was showing the babies the statue of Christ, Owen sat studying the Cristus. Then he asked me, "mom, why does Jesus have holes in his body?"  That led to a great and simple discussion about the crucifixion, and that Jesus died for us, and that He loves us so much that He really died for us so we could live with Him and Heavenly Father again. Even though there is lots of fun to be had at temple square with the water, the elevators, the escalators and such, the best part of going there is knowing that the we will feel the Spirit and the love of the Savior.
