UEA

This year for UEA, we did the Salt Lake City connect pass. It's a great deal. For each ticket, you can go to as many participating venues in one day that you can fit in. This is what we did:

We started at the children's museum. Bella, Lia, and Jenn joined us. This is always a winner with the kids-- although I think they need to add something or lower the price :)

Abby and Jane thought these "bikes" were pretty cool.

After the children's museum, we went to lunch at the Lion House. That alone just about makes the pass worth it! Yummy food. Owen especially enjoyed his chocolate cake:

Then we went to the new Leonardo art and science museum:
This was SUCH a fascinating place. Savannah and Owen are behind a green light scene. Where did Savannah's body go?

Savannah had the chance to walk on a prosthetic leg. She did pretty well!

We experienced all kind of fun things at the Leonardo- we just didn't get a bunch of pictures. So fascinating!!! All the possibilities of art and science are amazing!!!

Next, we went to the Red Butte Arboretum- possibly my very favorite place in Salt Lake City... (besides temple square)

Jane, enjoying the scenery

I really want one of these swings!

We wanted to do more that day, but we were all SO exhausted! We went home and watched movies.

A few days later Ellie slept over, and we went to another GEM in the Salt Lake Valley: Silver Lake.
Gorgeous and breathtaking!!!
The kids loved it. The lake has a wonderful trail all around it, we even brought the stroller.

I LOVED Silver Lake!! We had a really fun UEA! I've learned that we really don't have to go far to find amazing and fun places to go! Watch out Disney Land-- Silver Lake and Salt Lake City may rival you!! :)
