Juliann's Baby Shower

We have been waiting for YEARS for a baby to come to the McMillan home. Finally, little Clarissa was adopted into their home, and we are beyond happy for them. We threw a shower for Julianne, and it really turned out beautiful. I wish I had taken more pictures.

Michael and I made this diaper cake- it was really fun!! I made mini cupcakes, mini oreos with pink filling, and bought mini cheesecakes from Sam's club. Julie and Kris helped with the sandwiches and salads-- so good. We had the shower on our church grounds- which are absolutely gorgeous. I was pleased. Instead of games, a few of us brought and read our favorite children's books. I think Juliann felt loved, and I hope it was a nice, small way to welcome Clarissa into the family.
