Mom's Home Made Gifts

I absolutely love creating things, and knitting is at the top of my list. I just love it. I have a little tradition of giving my children a hand made gift every year. I sewed little dollies last year but their legs and arms are all falling off now. I hope this year's knitted animals will hold up better. One night, just as I'd finished the animals, Savannah got up and was so excited that she just had to pose all of them and play with them for a minute. Here's the stuffed animal play land made by Savannah in the middle of the night...

He's always been obsessed with Alligators and Crocodiles. He still looks for them in drains and rivers. I really hope that is not a hint of what he wants to do when he grows up!! Although yesterday as he watched the garbage man he was inspired. He even said he was thinking about being a garbage man instead of a tractor digger :) Let's just hope he's not an alligator rescuer!
