Idaho

In July we went to the funeral of a wonderful man in Caldwell, Idaho named Larry Kershaw. He's my step-grandpa, and I've only known him for a few years. The funeral was so inspiring- it gave wonderful honor to a man who lived a great and noble life. Everyone talked about his testimony, he knew the gospel was true and lived it in an exemplary way. I am grateful to have had the chance to be acquainted with him, even for a few short years.

While we were there, the Kershaw family gave my little family the opportunity to stay in their cabin near Idaho City, Idaho-- a very old and historic town.  While we were there we toured around the tiny and fascinating town and then found a little reservoir to play in.  Even though it was a sad reason to have a mini vacation, we did have a day this summer to enjoy time away from home.

We stopped in Twin Falls for a potty break, and found this amazing sight!! Wow!
