I can hardly believe our baby girls turned ONE!!! They had two birthday parties... First, the Boyer Family met at a really fun pizza place...
| Here is the party group. Uncle David and Aunt Juliann are the most photogenic adults of the Boyer clan... and look at all of those super cute kids!! Owen is on the far left, then Jane, Uncle David, Max, and Abby. The back row is, Aunt Juliann, Savannah, and Ellie holding Shaela. |
Loads of fun at the party....

| (From front to back: Owen, Savannah, Me with Abby, Juliann with Jane, and Ellie) Note that Juliann is wearing a different sweater in this picture. Abby was a literal party pooper... she pooped ALL over Juliann's sweater. I'll have to admit, I was glad it was Juliann, and not me! Thanks for taking one for the team, Juliann! |

The girls watched Savannah and I race Michael and Owen on this race track:
I wish that I could say Savannah and I won. I was pushing the petal to the metal as hard as I could, but the car was definitely NOT a real race car. Savannah and Owen though it was great, and that's what counts :)
On birthday party #2, my sisters and their families came over to our house...
| I decided to make our favorite cupcakes, but rainbow style (they had different layers of color inside), with our very favorite frosting on top. It is the MOST temperamental frosting I've ever made, and I have yet to make it LOOK really good, but the sacrifice of looks is definitely worth the taste. YUM! Savannah helped me make pinwheel cupcake toppers. |
| Here is our cute little Abby- so patiently waiting for her party to start. |
| Jane stole all of Bella's food. She spilled it on the floor, and then ate all of that up too. She's like a little vacuum. She usually eats everything on her plate, and Abby often drops food on the floor. After they eat, we set Jane loose to eat all of the food Abby dropped. She cleans the place right up. |
| The girls are waiting to dig into their cake!!! |
| Jane is especially excited when she sees something yummy on her way :) |
| She's never been given anything like this with the freedom to "dig in" and she's not sure what to do... so she grabs some frosting, and of course, she likes it. |
| Owen just couldn't control his urge to smash the cake in Jane's face. |
The cake wasn't as exciting for Abby, but....
| PRESENTS WERE!!!! And especially the wrapping paper!!! |
| Trying to get a good shot of the two birthday girls was nearly impossible... this is as good as it gets on their first birthday. |
| I am pleased that Abby likes the stinkin' pinwheels that took longer to make than they were worth... but at least one birthday girl enjoyed them. Isn't she cute? |
Some triplets had their BIRTH day too...
| SO CUTE!! The mommy robin has been one of my favorite things to watch. She takes constant care of her sweet little babies. She catches worms for them, and sits on them. But, when we are outside, she flies around waiting for us to go in. She doesn't dare go close to her babies very often when she can see us. It's interesting. I have a new love for robins. |

Welcome to the world, Baby Robins. I'm just glad that I have twins, not triplets. Good luck, Mommy Robin!!
The first year in the life of Abigail Pauline Boyer and Jane Elizabeth Boyer has been such a blessing. Most of all we are blessed to have you, my two precious babies. I love you oh, so very much. You are both so sweet and so fun, and really, truly Jewels and treasures of my life. You started out so teeny tiny, and you've grown so beautifully. We've gone through a lot of changes in our family this year... daddy had a career change, and we moved to Salt Lake. So many of my prayers have been answered. I wish I had kept better track of all of the things you did, and when you did them. I hope you will forgive me. Some day you will have an idea of how BUSY this year has been for me. I have never ever been busier, but I would't trade it for ANYTHING in the whole world. You both are so loved by me, daddy, Savannah and Owen. I don't think any other babies have had so much love and attention from their older siblings. Savannah and Owen can't wait until you wake up in the morning, or from your naps. I love to peek in on you when you sleep. I love to hold you, and I especially love it when you give me snuggles.
You both have such sweet sides to your personalities at this age, and you both sure can be SASSY or SAUCY. It's pretty funny to watch. You attract attention everywhere you go because you are such cute little twins. I hope you stay best friends forever. I hate to admit this, but one of my favorite things about you at this age is when you fight!! I know that is so horrible for a mom to admit, but it is so funny. One of you will snatch something out of the other one's arms, then screams are heard throughout the house. Sometimes, Abby will take something from Jane, and then giggle at Jane's fiery response. I need to record it sometime. I think you both will think it's pretty funny too. I just hope you don't fight like that when you get older... I know I'm kidding myself. Of course you will... it started at 10 months old. BUT... my most favorite thing is that you giggle at each other. You play together, and sometimes just look at each other and start laughing. I don't think there is anything cuter on the earth than that. Even if you fight when you are older, I hope you will temper it out with your laughter and play. I love you soooooooooooooooooooooo much. Happy first birthday!!! Love, mommy
